The Spark

Girl Guides is one of the world’s largest all-female organisations, providing a safe space for girls to grow, develop, and become the best versions of themselves. Since its inception in 1912, Girl Guides Victoria has upheld this mission, grounded in the belief that “when curious, clever girls are free to explore all their possibilities, the world opens up.” While the strength of Girl Guides Victoria lies in its dedication to tradition, the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the delivery of its programs. A solution was urgently needed to ensure continuity.

The Challenge

We launched Girl Guides Victoria TV (GGTV), a digital series designed to bring the Girl Guides program directly into the homes of its members. We managed the content creation and editing, ensuring the series upheld and respected the core principles of Girl Guides, while delivering the program in a fresh, engaging digital format.

The Outcome

Overport created a distinct visual identity for the video series (name and brand mark), then using local girl guides as creators, developed a 20-episode content series.
